CRUX – This is one of my favorite designs I’ve ever made. I think it strikes the perfect balance between my acid-brutalist tendencies and the minimalist style I had become so comfortable with in my early work. The assignment was to create a brand kit for a fictitious product. The subject I chose to portray is a digital psychedelic from an original cyberpunk setting.
ICC – I was asked by the student body president to design a new logo for Foothill College’s inter-club council. I tried to match the design language of Foothill’s existing logo and the concept sketches that were given to me.
LAUNDRY – Emulating a neon sign’s glow is one of the first effects you’ll learn in any Photoshop class (or at least was when I was coming up) so its nice to see that knowledge come in handy and be so effective. I made this while I was doing some boilerplate real estate flyer design, nothing more than populating fields on template patterns, but I convinced the agent to let me try something different for this one commercial property that had garnered little interest. I put this together in one afternoon, and by the next week, the property had sold.
TGM – An early example of my minimalist poster style. This is one of my first ever pieces; it was the final project for my Graphic design course at the Academy of Art. I remember the struggles i had to get the right curvature with the pen tool, placing each individual ripple in the reflection on the water as its own oval, and tearing my hair out trying to switch all the colors from RGB to CMYK. It was so rewarding to finally see this printed out and displayed on a wall.

ANIMATION

My first ever attempt at 2D Keyframe animation. This was my Junior Narrative project for Digital Media at Freestyle Academy. I created all the assets in Adobe Illustrator and completed the project in Adobe Animate (Formerly Flash.)
